A P McCoy named as Tiny Tickers ambassador

11 02 2015

Irish horse racing jockey Sir A P McCoy and his wife Chanelle have been announced as ambassadors for Tiny Tickers, which supports babies with heart defects.

McCoy, whose one year old son Archie had heart surgery last year, has backed the charity that aims to improve the early detection and treatment of congenital heart disease by providing training to sonographers performing pregnancy scans. He commented 'Spotting a baby's heart defect as early as possible can be the difference between life and death – so Tiny Tickers' work is vital. We're very happy to support a charity that is so close to our own hearts'.
